There are some things that as a property owner you can have in place that will make running a property overseas much easier. Inventory Whether you are allowing family and friends to use your property or renting your property out, you will benefit from having made a detailed inventory. In the event of a break-in it will be useful for any insurance claims that need to be made and if renting any breakages or missing items can be identified easily by your property managers. We offer an inventory service from €15. See our Price List Bills Regular bills such as Electric and Water will need to be paid by Direct Debit from a Spanish bank account. It is imperative that you have internet access to your spanish bank account (or 24hr Telephone banking) so that if there are any problems with the payments of these utility bills you have confirmation that payments were or were not taken. Post Make arrangements as soon as possible for your post to be safely delivered. Use your community postboxes as the Postman certainly will if they are properly marked. Failing that rent a postal box or mail box locally so that you can collect it whilst you are here. We provide a mail forwarding service if required. See our Price List. Spares It's sensible to make sure that you keep spare bulbs for all your light fittings and spare batteries for your appliances or remote controls in your property. This means you won't get invoiced for their replacement ! Also not having spares at hand means that anyone using your property might try to 'fix' something that appears not to be working and this often results in a breakage. This website is under construction BUT all of the services detailed here are currently available. Please feel free to contact us to discuss any aspect of our service. |
